Dear partner!

We announced in February that Aspo has acquired the entire capital stock of Kauko-Telko. The transaction was completed on April 30, 2008, and Aspo has today published its new structure. Aspo will discontinue the division into the Chemicals, Shipping and Systems Divisions and place more emphasis on the role of individual corporate brand.

The largest of these corporations is Telko, which will combine both Aspokem and its subsidiaries and Kauko-Telko's industrial raw materials business. The net sales of the new Telko (pro forma) amounted to EUR 198 million in 2007. Jari Ranne, Aspokem Oy's CEO, has been appointed Telko's CE.

We believe that the larger size and more extensive geographical coverage will enable us to serve you even better. We will combine the best aspects of both organizations and develop new service concept.

Telko was selected as the name of the new corporation, both due to the goodwill arising from the acquisition and the policy concerning the new Aspo Group's brand hierarch.

All of the companies to be merged with Telko will continue their operations as before: you will be served by the same contact person, and our contact details and the name of the legal companies will also remain unchanged for the time being. Our aim is that the Telko name will be in use in all our operating countries by the end of 2009. We will inform you of the changes to company names as the concrete integration progress.

Telko's organization will be composed of two business units (Plastics and Chemicals) and three geographical sales areas (East, Russia and West). Of our current operating countries, East will comprise Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine and Belarus. West will comprise Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Poland.
